Teen Friendly Hotels |

Top Hotels for Teens
You know it can be hard to think about what is best for teenagers when Las Vegas is calling for a visit. Let's say that the 17 year old is excited about the trip, but isn't sure what there is to do. The parent may be wondering how they are going to have fun while allowing their 17 year old a bit of freedom. All things considered, the best option is to choose a teen friendly hotel where there are lots to do for both parents and their young adults.
You will notice the reference here is to teens, not children. We feel it is never appropriate to plan a vacation to Las Vegas by bringing young children, babies, or toddlers. I can think of nothing more exhausting than trying to have fun while caring for a youngster. Still you see it all the time. It would be judgemental to say it is wrong, but it must be hard to have a good time.
The best hotels for you to consider where your teens can thrive and have fun, while the parents also go somewhere to have their fun are listed below in no particular order:
Circus Circus Click here for Circus Circus
This hotel offers a big top feel where an outer ring is where you will find arcade games, carnival type games, and much more. This is only the beginning. There is a center area where circus acts perform throughout the day for free. An inner ring controls the parent side of activities with full gaming and gambling amenities. Finally, outside is the real attraction with an indoor amusement park titled Adventuredome with a water ride, roller coaster, rock climbing, and so much more. Visit the link to get more details and plan your trip.
Excalibur Click here for the Excalibur
This property features a nice hotel with a Renaissance Festival type of theme. There is a gaming center downstairs from the main entrance that features many cool games and arcade style activities. You can win those tickets to purchase items from the gift shop. The reason why this place is so cool is that unlike real Amusement parks where you hardly ever see anyone win, your chances here are pretty good. You better make sure one piece of luggage is nearly empty because you can bet you will win some nice stuff and you need a way to get it home. There is a Tournament of Kings Jousting Dinner that takes place nightly and it is a blast. It is an all ages show. They have an all ages pool complete with water slide.
New York New York Click here for New York New York
You can't miss this property from the strip with the smaller version of the Statue of Liberty and the screams that seem to come out of the building. These screams of course are from the roller coaster that is a must do while in vegas. Inside of the Hotel is a downtown New York view that is quite cool. The New York New York is a sister property of the MGM and Mandalay Bay. This means you can purchase tickets for the roller coaster, CSI at MGM, and the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay for one low price. Details can be found at the New York website.
Mandalay Bay Click here for Mandalay Bay
This is a favorite property of parents as well as teens. The main reason is the pool complex. It is one of the best around with a beach that features a wave pool where you can go body surfing. It also has a lazy river that you can float around in. The beach itself is amazing and features 2700 tons of real sand.
Planet Hollywood Click here for Planet Hollywood
While this place was originally built for the college age crowd, it still has features that make it somewhat welcoming to teens. In reality, there are two main features; one is the Pleasure Pool and the other is the Miracle Mile shops (mall). The pool area is comprised of two large pools; one is adults over 18 only, the other is all ages. The reason for listing this property here is that you can see and feel how it was developed for young people in mind as it has a modern feel to it.
Not so friendly to teens
Well we would be remiss if we didn't mention places that are a bit too extreme for teens. These include Wynn and Encore, Treasure Island, Caesar's Palace, Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Paris, and Venetian. Anything not listed falls into the middle ground.
